Lovely hotel situated close to Centre of Amsterdam. The trams run every few minutes and only a two minute walk from the hotel. Check in - We arrived early about midday, our room was already available. The check in team offered us a complementary beer on arrival, very smooth, thank you! Room - Paid extra for an upgraded room, lovely view of the canal next to the hotel. The beds were very comfortable ,rooms clean and tidy. Shower / bathroom clean and modern. Breakfast - Great selection of hot and cold food available. Set breakfast meals also available to order at the table. Highly recommend the pancakes! I would highly recommend this hotel in Amsterdam. We took the train/tram from the airport to get to the hotel, don’t bother with a taxi.

Great hotel Great location for museums and park. Relaxed area. So much nicer and clearer than the city centre. However it makes it a long walk to other areas in Amsterdam, such as the station and other attractions. The hotel breakfast was lovely, but I felt that the hotel bar could offer a wider range of snacks. On our last night we were tired and it was raining so went to the bar. We had fries and croquettes, but not a lot else for vegetarians. The connected restaurant was Japanese and expensive and not for us, but looked lovely.

Location, location and location. All interesting museums within walking distance and tram station 5 minutes to go to any place in Amsterdam and outside the city by trains. Nice clean and spacious rooms. Friendly and helpful staffs who spoke English fluently. Many restaurants and cafes within walking distance. Vondelpark next to hotel for kids and adult both. I would have given 5 starts but for- Missing hooks or bar in bathrooms to hang towels for such a high end hotel. They should have hired a better interior designer! I suggest installing them ASAP. Overall I would highly recommend despite the high price tag it’s worth it.

Check in , was average nothing to shout about. Had better check ins from 2 star accommodation, nobody went out of the way, to impress. Even check out, i ended up paying 37 dollars city tax. Room was a box room, when you showered water went into the room

This is a fabulous value, and a wonderful hotel. The rooms are immaculate; the location is wonderful; and the staff was just so helpful. Definitely add the breakfast to your tab...the buffet is diverse: fresh fruit; yogurt; breads; pastry; eggs...but the grill will also prepare omelets; waffles; pancakes, etc on request. The location is just a few hundred yards from the Rijks museum, the museum of contemporary art; and the Van Gogh museum. A canal is located just outside the front door, and there are a wide variety of stores; cafes; restaurants; and tours within a few feet of the front door.
